First thing you will want to do is find the cd-rom disk that you will be inserting into the cd-rom . This could be anything from a program cd to a game cd or music cd .( I.E. one of those useless aol cd's ) Then on your cd-rom push the button to open the cd tray . ( SEE PICS BELOW )
Now you are ready to view the contents of the cd-rom disk .This method also applies to floppy diskette's . Just insert floppy disk into the floppy drive and then you will be able to view the contents on the floppy disk . Make sure that the side with the round metal circle is facing down otherwise the drive will not be able to read the floppy disk . ( SEE PICS BELOW )
YOUR NOW FINISHED !
Then take the cd-rom disk which you have selected and place it onto the cd-rom tray . Make certain that the side with the writing is on top otherwise the optical lazer will not be able to read the disk .Then push the button mentioned earlier to re-tract the cd-rom tray into the cd-rom drive . ( SEE PICS BELOW )
To eject your cd-rom disk push button on cd-rom as you did earlier to eject the disk from the cd-rom tray . To eject your floppy disk push the button on the floppy drive and the disk will slide out from the floppy drive .
